Within the scope of the Sonderforschungsbereich (Collaborated Research Centre) 475 and the Graduiertenkolleg (Research Training Group) "Statistical Modelling", guest speakers are invited to give talks on up to date research. The talks of "Statistik im Beruf" (Statistics in practice) provide an insight into the complex career of a statistician.
