The 6^th Sensometrics meeting invites contributions to all areas of Sensometrics, in particular

• analysis of time-intensity data,
• assessor performance,
• experimental design of sensory and consumer studies,
• multivariate methods and sensory data,
• relating consumer preference and sensory data,
• relating sensory and instrumental data,
• sensometrics and mathematical psychology.

Oral and poster presentations will be chosen from extended abstracts submitted no later than March 1, 2002. Abstracts should be prepared according to the instructions for authors. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and those selected will be assigned to oral or poster presentations. Authors will be notified of acceptance / non-acceptance by April 15, 2002.
All accepted contributions should be submitted for inclusion in a special issue of Food Quality and Preference (FQAP). To be included authors must either send the manuscript to the Organizing Committee prior to July 15, 2002 or bring the completed manuscript with them to the meeting. This will allow the editors of FQAP to manage the strict timetable for review and revision of manuscripts for timely publication.
